Banana stem vegetable

Ingredients

Banana stem 1 cup (cleaned and chopped)
Green gram 1 cup (soaked overnight)
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Scraped coconut 1 cup
Cumin seeds ¼ tsp
Shallots 5
Garlic 3 cloves
Mustard seeds ½ tsp
Salt to taste



           

Cook the green gram and the banana stem together with salt.

Grind coarsely shallots, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, scraped coconut and garlic.

Mix the coconut mixture with the cooked banana stem and green gram on medium flame.

Season it with mustard seeds and remove from flame.
