Ingredients

Semolina 2 cups
Ghee ¼ cup
Green chillies (deced) 1 tsp
Large onion 2 (finely cut)
Ginger (finely cut) 1 tsp
Water 4 ½ cup
Dry red chillies 2 (broken)
Mustard seeds ½ tsp
Urad dal (black gram split) ¼ tsp
Curry leaves
Salt to taste

 

 

           

Method of Preperation

In a pan on medium flame heat the semolina in 1 tbsp ghee. Take care that the color doesn’t change and remove from flame. Heat ghee or oil in a pan and pop the mustard seeds. Add the curry leaves, urad dal, broken red chillies and fry.

Pour the measured water and on boiling add salt
Keeping the flame on medium, add the fried semolina stirring continuously to avoid formation of lumps.

When done remove from flame and serve hot with bananas
